The network grows in depth and breadth

From 22 to 26 April we hosted our national coordinators' meeting in Hungary, welcoming leaders from all over Europe as well as participants from Brazil and Cuba. The venue in a quiet village in the stunning Danube Bend, just 90 minutes from Budapest, was the perfect setting for a week of learning, community and encouragement.

I was part of the Hungarian team. Together with Cosmin, we prepared the event with great anticipation and in prayer, hoping that every participant would go home refreshed, inspired and equipped for their ministry. Each day offered activities that brought the week's message to life in creative and memorable ways.

“The national leaders' meeting delivered five unforgettable days of faith, friendship and inspiration.”

Our thematic focus was based on the story of Noah. We began with God's calling and the decisions he expects from us. On the second day we were reminded that God himself equips us for the work he entrusts to us. Finally, we were encouraged that he not only equips his people, but also blesses their ministry and makes it grow.

As experiential learning is at the heart of YI, participants did far more than listen to talks. Through interactive activities they immersed themselves in the story of Noah and experienced its lessons first-hand. A prayer walk led us through key moments of Noah's journey and ended with each participant receiving a small packet of flower seeds as a reminder of growth and hope.

We return home not only with new ideas, but with new friendships and the certainty: this network is growing – in depth and in breadth.
